How to autofill job applications without losing control of your answers
Repeating your work history and contact details can slow down a job search. A reusable profile lets you spend less time copying and more time checking the application.
1. Prepare a profile in your desktop browser
Open InstaApply, choose Create my profile, and import your resume or enter your details. Review imported names, dates, links, and experience before saving. Resume extraction can make mistakes.
2. Connect the Chrome extension
Use the Chrome Web Store link on the homepage. Open InstaApply in the same desktop Chrome browser where your profile is saved so the extension can use it. Saving a profile on another device does not sync it to this browser.
3. Fill the repeated questions
Open the job application and use Fill application in the extension. Check which fields were filled. Forms differ between employers, and some fields will still need manual entry.
4. Review before you submit
Check contact details, employment dates, attachments, and role-specific answers. Answer eligibility and other personal questions yourself. InstaApply does not submit the application for you.
5. Keep track of the opportunity
Use My applications to record the role and its status. Keep your original resume and important application records backed up separately; a browser-saved profile is not cloud backup.
