Your application details

Without signing in, the public profile form saves reviewed details in your browser. With an account, Neon Auth stores your sign-in email and authentication records, and a separate InstaApply Postgres database stores your reviewed profile (including saved resume text) and jobs under your user ID. Resume extraction runs in your browser; the original uploaded file is not stored on our server. Existing browser data is uploaded only when you choose to import it. Cloud workspace changes are saved to your account, with a browser backup for interrupted sync. An installed extension uses a separate browser copy that you can update from your account. Review fields before submitting to an employer.

Account access and deletion

The administrator dashboard shows signup email, signup date, last workspace activity, and profile/job counts. It does not show resume contents or job details. Application routes restrict data to the signed-in owner; operators with database administration access can technically access stored data. From your account, export cloud data or delete your saved profile and jobs. Deleting saved data keeps your sign-in account. Signing out clears this account’s browser backup and the browser extension copy created through this site; exports and copies on other devices must be removed separately. Provider backups may retain deleted records until their retention period expires.

Website measurement

We use Vercel Analytics and our activity counter to understand site use. Google Analytics, when configured, measures visits to public information pages, clicks to the Chrome extension listing, and successful profile saves on the homepage. A profile save means local browser storage succeeded; it does not mean a job application was submitted or an extension was installed.

Our Google Analytics events do not include resume text, names, email addresses, job links, or entered form values. Private workspace and application pages are excluded from Google Analytics. Page URLs have query strings and fragments removed except validated Google Ads click identifiers; referrers are reduced to their origin. Google advertising personalization is disabled in our tag configuration.

Your choices

Our analytics integrations respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Google Analytics may use cookies for measurement. Blocking analytics does not prevent profile creation. Clearing site storage removes browser-saved profile data and may also remove other local InstaApply data; keep a separate copy of information you need.
